Tombolo Books' Anti-Racism Book Club

We will read both fiction and non-fiction books related to race, racism, and anti-racism in an effort to become more aware of how white supremacy functions in our country and in our lives. Through the chosen titles, we'll explore topics like talking about race, Black history, lived Black experience, and how to go about being anti-racist.

Though the idea for this book club came about in light of current events, we do not want it to merely be a response to current events. We realize the need for tangible, concrete action to eradicate the harmful systems created by white supremacy. We're committed to facilitating this book club long after the news cycle has changed.

Tombolo Books will donate a portion of the sales of the selected book club book generated during the preceding month to a local, Black-owned business or organization.

Location: Zoom (for now)
Time: 7 p.m., third Tuesday, every other month
Cost: Free
Membership: To promote the best discussion, this is a limited group. If you're interested in joining, please email bookclubs@tombolo for more information.
